At one time we had a big sow pig with a large litter of small ones loose in the corral. She would open her foot long mouth and “Whoof” ferociously when anyone came near her or any of the little pigs. We thought ‘anyone’ until we saw Paul, about four years of age, sitting on the sow’s broad side and struggled for a teat. Mother did not seem to appreciate it when I said the sow just thought Paul was one of the litter.
